Senior Backend Developer

AccuRanker provides the world’s fastest rank tracker. We help leading eCommerce sites and agencies worldwide keep track of their SEO efforts and the amount of data we track is huge. But domain knowledge and blazingly fast speed doesn’t cut it alone and we strive to build a tool that is a joy to use every day - and that is why we need you.

Your role

As AccuRanker’s new Backend Developer your primary tasks will be to:

• Design and build high-performance, distributed systems that scale seamlessly.
• Collaborate closely with PMs to define and implement new features.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Continuously challenge us to raise the bar for technical excellence.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Your skills

We expect you to be very precise and set high standards for your work. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Python
• Various data stores. Relational, key-value and columnar. SQL and NoSQL.
• Message and queuing systems
• Django
• Modern software architecture
• DevOps tools and methodologies
• Automated tests and good QA practices

You will get bonus points for any of these:

• SRE experience
• Linux experience
• Experience with SaaS web apps
• SEO knowledge
