What are Doorway Pages? - Accuranker

Doorway pages, (also known as portal pages, gateway pages or jump pages), are webpages which are created specifically to rank highly for a particular keyword and then funnel users to another page which hosts the main content.
An example would be to have multiple pages targeted at specific cities, with each one taking users through to the same page. Doorway pages usually offer a bad user experience and so this is not a technique which is recommended by Google.
